Our Method
A structured process designed to uncover structural weaknesses and second-order risks in your decision-making.
Intake
You provide context on the decision or bet: what you're considering, why it matters, what success looks like, and what concerns you already have. We ask clarifying questions to understand the full scope.
What we need:
- • The decision or bet in question
- • Current assumptions and reasoning
- • Stakeholders and their incentives
- • Constraints and dependencies
- • Your existing concerns
Review
We conduct independent analysis. We examine second-order effects, trace incentive misalignment, identify structural weaknesses, and stress-test assumptions. We look for what's not being said.
What we examine:
- • Downstream consequences
- • Incentive structures
- • Hidden assumptions
- • Failure modes
- • Operational blind spots
Written Memo
We deliver a concise, written analysis. Clear findings. Specific concerns. No hedging. You get a document that reads like an internal memo—direct, precise, and actionable.
What you receive:
- • Executive summary
- • Key findings and concerns
- • Structural weaknesses identified
- • Questions to consider
- • Implications and next steps
Optional Follow-Up
After you've reviewed the memo, we can discuss findings in a brief call. We clarify points, answer questions, and help you think through implications. This is optional.
What happens:
- • Discussion of key findings
- • Clarification of concerns
- • Exploration of implications
- • No coaching or implementation
- • One conversation, then complete
What we don't do
No Coaching
We don't mentor, advise on implementation, or help you manage stakeholders. We analyze and report.
No Branding
We don't help with messaging, positioning, or how to sell your decision. That's not our work.
No Retainers
We work on a project basis. One decision, one analysis, one memo. Then we're done.
